LIST OF ENGINEERING ENTRANCE EXAMS IN INDIA
ELIGIBILITY FOR DIPLOMA IN ENGINEERING:
For a student to be eligible for diploma in engineering first of all he must have cleared his 10th Std. exams successfully and for bachelor’s degree course, one must have cleared 12th std. board exam successfully in the science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Every state and IIT has an entrance exam for admission into engineering and mainly colleges in other states grant admission based on marks scored in 12th Std. exam, particularly in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Diploma holders have the privilege for getting admitted into second year of engineering in the same stream in which they have completed their diploma. For a master’s level course, one must have completed bachelor’s degree program successfully. Further Studies After graduating students can go in for postgraduate studies in India or abroad that will culminate in a master’s degree. A further study up to Ph.D. level is also an option. Refer to
