APSC Recruitment 2012 – 72 Principal & Faculty Vacancies: APSC Assam Public Service Commission has released notification for fullfilling of 72 vacancies .Candiddates who are eligible can apply for these jobs on or before 30-08-2012.

1. Principal – 01 Posts
2. Professor – 03 Posts
3. Associate Professor – 12 Posts
4. Assistant Professor (Technical) – 33 Posts
5. Assistant Professor (Non-Technical) – 23 Posts

Eligibility Criteria :

Age Limit: Candidates’ should be of age in between 45 years and 55 years for Principal post, and between 35 years and 50 years for Post 2 and 3, which is in between 21 years and 38 years for posts 4 and 5. The cutoff date to determine age limit that is as per 01-01-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).

Educational Qualification: Candidates has to possess BE/B Tech/ME/M Tech/Master’s Degree in any relevant discipline. For further details refer to the notification.

Application Fee Details: Applicants has to pay the application fee of Rs. 5/- (Rs. 5.50/- for SC/ST candidates) through form of in form of Treasury Challan Head of Account ‘Non Tax Revenue-Other Non Tax Revenue-0051-PSC, 102-State Public Service Commission Application/Examination Fee Receipt of A.P.S.C’.

Selection Process: The candidates who are eligible are selected based on performance in Written Test and Personal Interview.

How to Apply: Candidates has to obtain the application format from the Deputy Secretary, Assam Public Service Commission, Jawahar Nagar, Khanapara, Guwahati-22, fill all mandatory details attached with photograph and attested by a signature and submit it there itself  it along with DD and Copies through all relevant certificates on or before 30-08-2012.
